We want to help you with your collection
As both a buyer and a seller, the options available to you in the art market are many. But how do you find the best way to satisfy your own particular requirements? We specialise in tailoring our advice to your situation and achieving the best possible outcome.
As a vendor, we can help you sell your works in the most appropriate way and in recent years have assisted in the placement of some extremely important paintings and sculptures with new owners, quietly and without fuss. If you choose to sell through auction, we can untangle the jargon for you and get a great deal from an auction house, be that for a single work or a whole collection.
For buyers, we are particularly proud to have identified and located some major works which had been lost from sight and negotiated their move to a new home. This has included paintings and sculptures by Michael Andrews, David Bomberg, Barbara Hepworth, Pierre Soulages, Peter Lanyon, Henri Gaudier-Brzeska and Alfred Wallis.
We also continue to work closely with the family of William Scott RA and are pleased to be able to go on assisting them in supporting the work of the William Scott Foundation, a valuable and ever-growing archive of information on this important post-war British artist.
Presentation can be key to the enjoyment of your collection, and we can also advise you on how to find the right conservator or framer for your works, or the best specialists to transport or install it.
