With the gradual relaxation of lockdown restrictions starting to unfold, the art world will be starting to come back to life again over the coming weeks. The commercial galleries are reopening and the auction houses are getting their sale seasons underway, albeit with plenty of new processes for us all to get used to. Whilst J&J Rawlin have always worked by appointment, it will be very different to have to book visits to exhibitions and auction views and obviously means these events won’t have quite the same opportunities for bumping into friends and colleagues and being able to chat and exchange ideas.
