We are joining Cromwell Place!

Our opening exhibition as members at Cromwell Place will be held between 17th and 30th May 2021 and will be a great opportunity for us to reconnect with all those clients and collectors who, like us, have been pretty much at home for the past year.

The exhibition will cover several aspects of British art, with the key focus being a wonderful group of works on paper by William Scott R.A.. Sourced from the artist's Estate, some of these wonderful pieces have been unexhibited in decades and some never before so this will be a great opportunity for collectors of this important painter to see works that have those crucial Scott characteristics of great colour and elegant placement of forms. They will all be for sale and we will be releasing further details closer to the opening date.

We will also be showing a group of Modern British paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures that explore the themes of Figure & Landscape and artists here will include figures as diverse as Edward Burra, Roger Hilton, Alfred Wallis, Tracey Emin and Eduardo Paolozzi.

Studio ceramics will also be featured in the exhibition with some new pieces made specially for the show by Ashley Howard as well as some classic pots by Hans Coper, Lucie Rie, Hamada Shoji and James Tower amongst others.

We will be releasing more information, including details on how to book viewing slots for the preview days, in the coming weeks so if you have not already done so, please join our mailing list or follow us on Instagram @jjrawlin
