This delightful and poised pot is a relatively early work by Myers and shows to great advantage the powerful blue coloration that she was able to bring to her works of this period. The density of colour, like a North African painted wall or a canvas by Yves Klein, gives the blue a potency that jumps out at the viewer, making it a focal point of any space.
